The Biomolecular Systems and Design Lab welcomes motivated researchers and students interested in peptide self-assembly, biomolecular interfaces, and computational biophysics. Our projects combine experimental and computational approaches. Prior experience in all methods is not required. We value curiosity, rigour, and willingness to learn.
We welcome enquiries from postdoctoral researchers interested in joining the lab on an independent fellowship. We actively support applications to competitive fellowship schemes, including:
If you are interested in applying for a fellowship to work in our lab, please get in touch early, so we can develop a competitive proposal together.
We are always interested in hearing from prospective doctoral researchers. Funded positions will be advertised below when available. Prospective students are also strongly encouraged to apply for external doctoral fellowships. We actively support such applications. Relevant schemes include:
A strong application typically includes a background in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, materials science, or a related discipline. Experience with experimental or computational methods is a plus but not required. We provide training in all techniques used in the lab.
We host M.Sc. and B.Sc. thesis students from Constructor University and other institutions. Projects are available in both experimental and computational directions. If you are interested in a thesis project, please get in touch with a brief description of your interests.
There are currently no funded positions available. Enquiries and fellowship applications are always welcome.
