Selected for IUPAC Periodic Table of Younger Chemists
Torsten John has been selected as one of 118 outstanding younger chemists worldwide to be honoured in the IUPAC Periodic Table of Younger Chemists, created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of IUPAC and the International Year of the Periodic Table. Each of the 118 honorees represents one element — Torsten was assigned element Lead (Pb). Honorees were selected to embody the mission and core values of IUPAC, recognising scientific excellence and commitment to the global chemistry community.
