Aiswarya Rajeev Joins as First PhD Student

We are delighted to welcome Aiswarya Rajeev as the first doctoral researcher in the Biomolecular Systems and Design Lab. Her project focuses on the membrane activity of self-assembling peptide fibrils, investigating how peptide sequence and self-assembly state govern interactions with lipid membranes and biological activity.
Her work combines biophysical experiments including QCM-D and fluorescence spectroscopy with molecular dynamics simulations, and connects to both disease-relevant questions in amyloid biology and the design of peptide materials.
Welcome, Aiswarya!
